Designing spaces you can feel good about.
Sustainable Blonde Design is the product of my desire to combine two of my passions, interior design and lessening our impact on the environment. My design career started out in hospitality where I worked on incredible hotels around the world. Over time, I began to see the negative impact that interior design can have on the environment. From wasted samples and disposing large quantities of old furniture, to the chemicals used in fabrics and finishes. I felt like there had to be a different way.
My motivation to design more eco-friendly spaces ultimately led me to become a LEED Green Associate where I was able to immerse myself in learning sustainable design practices. And while many of these innovative sustainability practices were reserved for corporate design, I’m excited to make them accessible to clients of all scales.
From residential homes and commercial spaces, to pop up shops, I love creating spaces that capture a client’s unique vision, style and story while aligning with sustainability principles. Building on a foundation of eco-friendly practices we can bring you a clean, sustainable space that doesn’t sacrifice style for sustainability. Let’s build a space that feels good. Good for people – good for the planet.
